- How you hold them — label of record, publisher, distributor account…
- A link to a catalogue listing or statement, if available
0.50% of every trade on CHART is set aside for the verified rightsholders of the recording being traded. Here is how to claim what has been reserved for your music.
Tell us who you are, which recordings you hold rights in and how. It takes a few minutes and needs no wallet.
We review your evidence and may ask for documents such as distributor or label statements. Splits between rightsholders are resolved first.
Once verified, you confirm a payout wallet by signing with it. Payouts begin at CHART’s full launch, subject to final terms.
The reserve accrues on-chain in an account that belongs to each recording’s market, from its very first trade. The claim form lists every CHART song together with its current reserve, so you can see what has accrued before you submit.
During the beta, reserves are beta balances with no cash value and nothing is paid out.
Submitting a claim starts a review. It does not by itself verify ownership or guarantee a payout.
Rightsholders submit a claim, CHART verifies their rights, and after verification they confirm a payout wallet. During the beta the reserve is accruing and claims are reviewed; payouts begin at full launch, subject to verification and final terms.
No. The reserve belongs to verified rightsholders only. It is funded by fees and does not depend on token prices.
Not necessarily. CHART is an independent market that references recordings. A market does not imply that the artist or rightsholders have endorsed or partnered with CHART.
Submit a claim with the recordings and a short description of how you hold rights. No wallet is needed to claim. We will contact you if we need documents.
