CHART is a market for music. Every recording can have one market on CHART, where people buy and sell that song’s token to express conviction in it. Part of every trade is set aside for the people behind the music.

No. Markets, Discover, artist pages and albums are public. You only connect a wallet when you want to launch a market, trade or manage your profile.

Find a song you believe in, open its page and either join its market or launch it. Sign in with a Solana wallet, add funds from the wallet menu and review the quote before approving the trade.

A song token is a transferable position in CHART’s market for one recording. Its price moves only with buying and selling on CHART.

No. A song token gives no ownership of the song, its master or its publishing, and no right to royalties, revenue or streaming income. It is a position in CHART’s market, nothing more.

Only what participants on CHART are currently willing to pay for a position in that market. Prices are speculative. They are not a valuation of the song, its rights or its future income, and not a forecast of streams or charts.

Each market is bound to the recording’s identity — its MusicBrainz recording ID and ISRC codes where available. The market’s on-chain address is derived from that identity, so a second market for the same recording cannot exist. If someone has launched it, you join that market.

Open a recording that has no market yet and make a first buy of at least $20. During the beta each wallet can launch up to 5 songs per day. You buy from the curve at the same starting price as everyone else; there is no launcher allocation.

A market graduates when its fully diluted market cap reaches $50,000. From then on it trades on a constant-product pool backed only by real reserves. Graduation happens inside CHART; it is not a listing on another exchange.

Every trade moves the price along the market’s curve, so larger trades have more price impact. The quote shows the expected and minimum output before you sign, and slippage protection rejects a trade instead of filling it at a worse price.

1.25% on every buy and every sell: 0.75% goes to CHART and 0.50% to the recording’s Creator Reserve. Network fees are separate and are currently covered by CHART during the beta.

From the 0.75% trading fee. CHART takes no token allocation, does not sell tokens and does not earn from price movements. There is no separate CHART token.

100,000 — minted once at launch into the market itself. The mint authority is then revoked, so no one can ever create more.

0.50% of every trade on a song is set aside, automatically and on-chain, for that recording’s verified rightsholders. It accrues from the very first trade.

Rightsholders submit a claim, CHART verifies their rights, and after verification they confirm a payout wallet. During the beta the reserve is accruing and claims are reviewed; payouts begin at full launch, subject to verification and final terms.

No. The reserve belongs to verified rightsholders only. It is funded by fees and does not depend on token prices.

Submit a claim with the recordings and a short description of how you hold rights. No wallet is needed to claim. We will contact you if we need documents.

Not necessarily. CHART is an independent market that references recordings. A market does not imply that the artist or rightsholders have endorsed or partnered with CHART.

Solana wallets such as Phantom, or MetaMask with Solana enabled. CHART is non-custodial: your tokens and funds stay in your wallet.

Never. CHART never asks for a private key or recovery phrase. Signing in uses a message signature that cannot move funds; each trade needs its own approval in your wallet.

Not yet. CHART is in beta: balances are beta credits with no cash value, and nothing is paid out. Real-money trading opens only with CHART’s full launch.

Real-money trading and verified Creator Reserve payouts, after an independent security audit, legal review and final terms. We will announce the date on CHART.

A separate product, coming soon, where artists can offer projects and rights directly to fans. It is not part of the song markets.
